About Zakum Development Company
The improvement of the Upper Zakum store is considered as one of the significant specialized accomplishments in Abu Dhabi. Accordingly to ZADCO's ceaseless endeavors applied amid the early years, the primary shipment of Upper Zakum unrefined petroleum was sent out on the tanker "Al-Ain" on 24th May 1983 denoting a critical accomplishment in the organization's advancement. In April 1988, ADNOC chose to consolidate the operations of Umm Al Dalkh Development Company (UDECO), which was built up in 1978, with ZADCO's operations keeping in mind the end goal to excuse operations, stay away from duplication of capacities and decrease cost. ZADCO Management has stepped in this appreciation, which brought about the physical merger of the two organizations. In May 2000, another structure for ZADCO in view of Performance Driven Organization was accomplished.
