The Standard Group, was established in 1986 by Jabir Rasheed, a Mechanical Engineer and Entrepreneur, who began Standard Ship Spares LLC (SSS). The Focus of SSS was to secure and supply Emergency marine gear and extras to the delivery business in the UAE and Middle East which was an irregularity in this district around then.
