About Emirates Flight Catering
Every month, we recover over 65 tons of cardboard packaging which is recycled into new paper products in Dubai. We’ve recently extended the programme to include office waste paper and we estimate this will yield 50 tons per annum. We also collect recyclable materials from the hospitality lounges in the Dubai International airport concourses and from our other food and beverage outlets in and around Dubai. In addition to the daily recovery of mixed plastics and aluminium foils and cans, we’re also looking at salvaging glass bottles and wooden crates
